Why I followed my instinct to practice Alternative Medicine at the age of 43.

“From a very early age I was inexplicably attracted to Alternative/Complimentary Medicine. Unfortunately my parents couldn't see a future for me, in what was then a rather obscure career. The drive and vision I had was sadly redirected into studying child law at Manchester University followed by working on the Northern Court Circuit.

This was a job and not a vocation.

In 1977 I got married, taking on the responsibility of two step children, 3 farms, 2000 sheep, 200 pedigree cattle and an antiques business!

Fifteen years later I met my present partner Richard, a former fashion designer who became a great influence in my life by encouraging me to follow my dream of practicing Complementary Medicine.

Initially I was trained in Reflexology by Ann Gillanders at the British School of Reflexology but somehow I knew this was only the tip of the iceberg on my journey of discovery. Subconsciously there was a voice inside me, telling me to "Go East".

It was in China that I experienced a total life change. Studying Acupuncture in Beijing at the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, working with the most accredited professors in the World, transformed my whole approach to 'patient treatment' as I witnessed 'miracles' of healing on a daily basis. While studying in the medical field, my interest in

FACIAL REJUVENATION ACUPUNCTURE

was aroused, an ancient traditional technique of containing the aging process, dating back to the Sung Dynasty - 960 AD.

The success rate and results achieved through this form of treatment are astounding and lead me to further my studies into 'Siang Mien' otherwise known as

Physiognomy

- the art of reading human character and medical diagnosis from facial features. The value of the knowledge I have gained is boundless, which in turn is leading me towards sharing the art of these ancient traditional methods with interested people World wide. Therefore, in the very near future I plan to lecture and train others around the globe as well as in my present home country of Cyprus.
